Tēna koutou, tēna koutou, tēna koutou katoa.
Welcome to the International Building Physics Conference hosted by BRANZ in
Te Whanganui-a Tara Wellington, April 2027.

For more than 50 years, BRANZ has provided independent and practical research, testing, quality assurance and expertise to support the building and construction sector in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We are focused on developing collaborative solutions to deliver affordable, quality, resilient and sustainable buildings that will improve the well-being of all New Zealanders.

Aotearoa New Zealand is exposed to numerous weather, climate and geological hazards, many of which are unique to the country’s landscape. These challenges, alongside our geographic isolation, have meant we’ve developed extensive building physics expertise to help ensure our buildings are fit for future generations.

We are excited to bring together the world’s best in building physics.
